Work has now been completed on the alternative route of NCN 12 going through the centre of Letchworth, rather than the original route following the 'Garden City Greenway' around the east side.
A new section of path has been built from Letchworth Gate, Letchworth, around the north side of A1(M) junc 9 to allow easy access to south side of Baldock (A6141) or Graveley (B197) or Weston (Lannock Hill / Hitchin Rd).
There were a few instances of missing signs (or pointing wrong way!) mentioned in the guide - many of these have been addressed now, so it should be possible to ride without concentrating on the map!

Stotfold - north edge of Stevenage
Stevenage - Ayot Green (north west of Welwyn Garden City)
Welwyn Garden City - Hadley Wood, London Borough of Enfield
